Drawing inspiration from the distinctive feet of the Yves seating system, the Yves sideboard and storage unit translates a signature design detail into a refined and architectural furnishing piece. Designed by Hannes Peer, this contemporary sideboard is an exercise in balance—between form and function, simplicity and sophistication—making it an ideal statement piece for both living and dining environments.
Available in a variety of sizes and configurations, including versions tailored for the lounge or dining room, the Yves sideboard offers versatile storage while elevating the visual language of any interior. Its silhouette appears clean and composed at first glance, yet reveals layers of subtle complexity upon closer inspection.
The defining feature is the alignment of the double-shaped, rounded feet—bold yet elegant supports that mirror the design used in the Yves sofas and coffee tables. These sculptural elements are placed with precise rhythm, aligning perfectly with the door joints to lend a visual structure and measured cadence to the front of the piece. The result is a sense of order and symmetry, which anchors the design and adds architectural clarity.
A recessed top—offered in marble, lacquer, or wood—adds a refined material contrast, gently framed by the unit’s softened edges. The doors and sides, whether lacquered or in wood veneer, feature smoothed corners and subtly rounded borders. This soft detailing counterbalances the sideboard’s linear geometry, creating a sense of approachability and fluidity that invites touch and use.
