The Minotti Sandy seating collection, designed by Nendo, takes shape from a single, carefully balanced gesture. Outdoors, it becomes a sinuous ribbon that wraps and unfolds in a steady rhythm.
At one end it forms the armrest; at the other it extends into the seat and backrest, drawing one continuous line. This fluid trace rests on a rigorous, geometric base of flat elements on ultra-slim legs, setting up a refined interplay of movement and structure.
From this principle comes a family of outdoor seating: a two-seater sofa, a dormeuse with matching side table, an armchair and a dining chair, all made to inhabit exterior spaces with lightness and character.
The frame is crafted entirely in aluminium, chosen for its durability outdoors and for the sleek, harmonious presence it allows, making the pieces easy to pair or arrange in different ways.
The structure comes in a range of deep, sophisticated glossy finishes that bring out the purity of the design. Two separate cushions for seat and backrest, generous and inviting, are finished with piping and held in place by discreet fastenings that keep everything stable and neat in daily use.
Made for permanent outdoor use in both residential and hospitality settings, Sandy reinterprets the imagery of the classical garden. It sits naturally alongside a range of architectural styles and landscapes, combining durability, comfort and a strong identity.
