ELYNE ARMCHAIR
Hannes Peer
The Minotti Elyne collection, designed by Hannes Peer, takes shape from a balance between structural lightness and enveloping comfort. A thin, gently curved line traces an airy, uninterrupted silhouette that supports more generous volumes, setting up a dialogue between precision and softness. The design runs across several interpretations: an armchair with footstool, a lounge armchair, a dining chair, a bench and stools in various sizes, all sharing the same formal matrix in different proportions.
The armchair and lounge versions have a full stainless steel tubular frame that draws a light, continuous line in space. Here the character is more relaxed and embracing: the backrest support extends towards the armrests, tapering as it goes.
Soft seat cushioning works with the backrest and the frame, balancing airiness against the substance of the volumes. The armrests, a natural extension of the upholstery, flow downward in a fluid gesture and carry a subtle gathered detail that adds a tailored, three-dimensional accent.
The armchair is paired with a footstool that echoes its structure and finishes, defined by an upholstered element outlined with perimeter piping. The dining version comes with a wooden frame or a steel rod in Black Coffee or Chrome.
Here the backrest flows seamlessly into the armrest, and the compact seat cushion carries an elegant front stitching that highlights the craftsmanship.
The bench translates the same language into a more essential form: a rod structure in the same finishes, with a paper cord frame woven in an envelope pattern and topped with a seat cushion.
Two stools, available in two heights, complete the collection with a soft upholstered shell.
