The Minotti Elas collection, designed by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, is a seating collection conceived as a tribute to the women who shaped international creative culture, architecture and contemporary art in the early twentieth century. It reads as a sequence of postures, gestures and materials, expressing a view of the home as discerning, sensitive and deeply human.
Elas begins with a close connection to material. Natural surfaces, gentle volumes and organic lines create a seamless dialogue between body and space, with a refined sensuality carried in refined details.
Elegant and distinctive, the collection moves through different settings with ease without losing its identity. Made for domestic living, where it sits in harmony with the architecture, it extends to winter gardens and transitional spaces leading outdoors.
Elas is offered with a genuine wicker shell in bergère, armchair and footstool configurations, on a swivel metal base with Bronze-finished spokes or as an all-wooden fixed version. The interwoven detailing takes centre stage: a pattern that defines the architecture of the piece, softens its visual impact and affirms its solidity. Soft cushions are integrated precisely onto this surface, and in the bergère a leaf-shaped headrest rises as a fluid accent that tempers the formal precision.
Alongside this is a variant with a fully upholstered shell, on either the swivel metal base or the fixed wooden base, available in a range of finishes. The collection also includes a bergère with upholstered armrests and a more compact version, both offered only with a swivel base, and a matching ottoman with a fixed spoke base or wooden legs.
In configurations with wooden parts, one armrest carries a marble insert, reinforcing the relationship between different surfaces. It is a design that moves easily between interior and exterior, connecting intimacy and open-air living.
