Minotti Curtis Bed
The Curtis bed owes its original identity to the precious quilting. The exclusive pattern of the Minotti Curtis bed features a circle crossed by a vertical line, designed by Minotti Studio to characterize the walls of the settings of the 2018 collection.
The workmanship conveys an effect of great softness to the fabrics and the leathers used for the upholstery. The pattern, simplified and reduced to the sole vertical line, is also the protagonist of the finishing of the sommier raised from the ground.
Curtis is characterized by a tall and thin headboard, with an exposed zipper along the sides, and is available in one length only, with a choice of five widths. Interpreted with a crepuscular light, in a rarefied atmosphere, the Minotti Curtis Bed suggests the encounter between the past of the Déco tradition, thanks to the rich quilting, and the present of interior decoration, with its sophisticated graphics.
Curtis can be coordinated with a bedspread and a plaid with an interesting combination of colours, materials and textures. Thus contributing to the overall scenography of the bed, which is elegantly dressed and becomes the protagonist of the sleeping area. The reversible Curtis bedspread is made entirely by hand. One side is covered in white Paco fabric and the other in Mink-coloured Kabuki fabric. The Lawrence plaid, made of 100% cashmere wool, is available in two versions: Titanium with a border in natural-shaded Nabuk leather or Platinum with a border in iron-coloured Nabuk leather.

One-piece, free-standing bed frame in very thick plywood. The bed frame is designed to accommodate pocket springs covered with a layer of high-resilience, (CFC-free) polyurethane foam. A perforated plywood panel, placed under the springs, facilitates the circulation of air. Bedframe covered with heat-bonded fiber laminated to white cotton fabric that lends a soft fluffiness to the padding while separating it from the fabric, ensuring the product is hygienic. The upper part of the bed frame is covered with an additional perforated technical fabric covering that allows greater circulation of air within the spring structure. Headboard in plywood, padded with high resilience, variable density polyurethane foam and encased in a liner bonded to an additional 3 mm layer of polyurethane foam. The supplementary bonded padding emphasizes the embossed-effect of the headboard design. The headboard is fastened to the base through a quick set and release coupling system
Completely removable, in fabric or leather. To facilitate cover removal, the headboard can be lifted out of the bed frame through a system of quick set and release closures.
Cast aluminum, varnished polished Pewter colour with anti-fingerprint finish. The headboard rests on the floor on loadbearing metal bars painted matt Black. Black protective SEBS glides.
Given the architecture of the bed, it cannot accommodate a regular box spring nor can mattress height be adjusted.
