Minotti Aston Cord chair is part of a family of individual pieces, including a sofa, a daybed, armchairs, poufs and chairs, custom-designed to furnish homes and “public spaces” with style and elegance, allowing the conversation to continue between indoors and outdoors.

The Aston Cord Outdoor collection comes with a pewter color polyester-painted metal frame specially treated for exterior use, as are the padded cushions, which are covered in waterproof fabric. The seat back is in a special braided 7 mm diameter polypropylene cord, available in two color variations: light gray and dark brown, a perfect match for the fabrics in the new Art Lifescape 02 textile collection and the shade of Alison “dark brown” outdoor.

The painted metal frame is finished with a special polyester paint for exterior use in Pewter color and the seat back is in a special braided polypropylene cord, available in two color variations: light grey and dark brown. The Minotti Aston Cord chair features an exclusive Minotti Studio laser-cut geometric design. Inner padding of the cushions is in highly durable expanded polyurethane covered in water repellent fiber.

Available in the collection are the Aston Sofa, Armchair and Chair.

Minotti Outdoor Dining tables are created and designed to compliment the Minotti Collections for hospitality or home residence.

Structure

Metal, processed in three phases: sand blasting, zinc primer for outdoor use (fosters and improves adhe- sion of the finish paint), and polyester powder coating for outdoor use available exclusively in glossy Pewter color. The metal parts have a laser-cut geometric decoration based on an exclusive Minot- ti Studio design. Backrest and armrests covered in a braided 7 mm diameter Taslan polypropylene fiber, available in two color variations: Light Grey and Dark Brown. Protective polyethylene slides.

Air texturization process (Taslanizing) that provide an appearance similar to that of natural fibers.

Cushions

Seat and backrest cushions in high resilience polyurethane foam and eco-friendly water-resistant fiber.

YARN INFORMATION

The braided polypropylene cord utilized in manufacturing the Aston “Cord” products is made of Flyer, a special yarn designed for the production of residential and contract upholstery textiles, that is ideal for outdoor use. Soft and non-pilling, it is resistant to sunlight, mold and bacteria. Made of hypoallergenic and non- toxic substances, the material has successfully passed rigorous testing of its antibacterial and antifungal properties. It offers excellent resistance to sunlight, salt water, chlorine, acids, sun screens and tanning lotions, perspiration, stains, and wear. Washable at 40° (104°f), it is colorfast and does not require ironing. It is totally recyclable and is Oeko- Tex® Standard 100 certified (tested for harmful substances).

Covers

Seat and backrest cushions can be completely removed.

Rain Cover optional

Rubberized 150/300 polyester. The PVC contains additives that provide more protection: anti-UV for exposure to direct sunlight, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-mite and self-extin- guishing. Avoid the use of aggressive cleaning agents, even commonly used detergents. It is highly recommended to make maximum use of the Rain Covers – not only during the winter months – to keep the Lifescape Collection in good condition. Although the materials and processing methods have been carefully chosen for their properties and performance in outdoor environments, weather conditions can significantly alter the original state of the furniture.
